Good Dog is owned and operated by Alice Pickersgill a Hebden Bridge resident, labrador owner, and animal lover.

“After the lock-down lifted, I decided to turn my passion for animals into a career. Having been furloughed, I felt it was the perfect time to pursue a new path. I began my journey as a grooming assistant at a well-regarded salon in Manchester, where I received extensive training in various grooming techniques.

Now, as an in-house mobile dog groomer, I bring my grooming services directly to your home, setting up all necessary equipment on-site. This approach is ideal for dogs that are reactive or experience separation anxiety, providing a comfortable and familiar environment that reduces stress.

I prioritise a cooperative, low-stress grooming approach, focusing on your dog's emotional well-being over aesthetic outcomes. My goal is to ensure every grooming session is a positive experience for your furry friend.”

Good Dog can come to you anywhere in the Hebden Bridge area. A small travel fee of £2 per additional mile after the 2 mile radius of Hebden Bridge is added for appointments further afield.
